Since ancient times people of Moldova region have celebrated the end of the grape harvest and birth of the new wine. Our days, since 2002, on the second weekend of October Moldova region is transformed into a winery wonderland, celebrating one of local"s most popular products – Moldovan wines. This day was declared as the National Wine Day.

The National Wine Day 2011, also called Wine Festival 2011 or National Wine Holiday, is going to be held on 10-11 October 2009 in Chisinau and all around Moldova.

Nearly 100 wineries, thousands of visitors including tourists from all around the world are coming to central square of Chisinau with the name of “Great National Assembly”.

The Wine Festival 2011 is an excellent opportunity to discover Moldova!
